About the role

We're currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Werribee Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you'll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.

As a Session Leader, you'll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You'll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:

Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donorsDevelop and coach teamsPhysically insert and remove needles to collect donationsAct as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessmentsProvide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy successShow pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

Monday to Sunday:
This role requires flexibility to work both morning shifts (starting as early as 7:15 AM) and evening shifts (finishing as late as 8:30 PM). Shifts will range between 6 to 8 hours in length.
