**About Us**
With distribution centres across Australia and New Zealand, BGC Plasterboard and Fibre Cement produce premium quality value for money distinctive building products including various plasterboard, cornice and jointing compounds for internal lining and a large range of external claddings for residential and commercial projects.
**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a charismatic individual for our Customer Service Officer role, to help our dynamic and fast paced logistics team at BGC Fibre Cement in Ingleburn You will be the first point of contact for all who walk through our doors. You will use your personable and professional approach to manage the front desk, liaise with customers and freight companies, and provide administration support.
Your typical day will include:
- Every day running of the front desk and general administration duties
- Coordinating delivery runs and customer pick ups
- Organising transport and consignment notes for deliveries including liaising with incoming and outgoing freight companies
- Creating, issuing and processing packing slips, packing lists, credit returns and order instructions
- Auditing of orders once loaded on transport
- Assisting with reconciliation of transport invoices
**What we’ll love about you**
- Customer service or dispatch administration experience (bonus points if you have experience in logistics or manufacturing industry)
- Exposure to an ERP such as MFG Pro is highly regarded
- Passion and a proactive approach for customer service with strong desire to problem solve and resolve customer queries
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels and build strong relationships
- Intermediate computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously, unsupervised as well as contribute to a strong team environment
