The Software Engineering Manager - Integration and Automation, is a strategic, thought leadership role, responsible for leading the development and maintenance of Baby Bunting’s webMethods Integration Platform. Reporting to the GM of IT, you will enjoy a mix of BAU and Project work, whilst leading a team of software engineers.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Strategy, Roadmap & Operating Model**
- Own and manage the webMethods platform including integration platform architecture and design, performance and software upgrades.
- Lead the selection and introduction and management of appropriate technologies to facilitate automation of business processes and workflows to improve business efficiency.
- Effectively lead and manage a small team of offshore software engineers that design, build, test, implement and support integration and automation solutions by providing guidance.

**Advisory and Partnership and Culture**
- Develop appropriate integration and automation principles and communicate these to members of technology teams and others as required.
- Access proposed solutions, technology, services, third parties and contracts and provide advice relating to integration within our technology landscape.
- Collaborate with project and product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align software projects with company objectives and customer needs.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience with Integration Platform Architecture with specific focus on webMethods Product suite. (On-Prem & Cloud)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior Integration management role, ideally responsible for developing the Integration architecture, strategy and standards
- Experience with the implementation and management of automation solutions
- Ability to effectively manage vendors
- Have demonstrated passion for developing team members with a people-first approach to leadership and willingness to roll up your sleeves to achieve the team's end goals
