**About the Derwent Tavern and Vantage Group**:
Derwent Tavern is a part of the Vantage Group operating across Tasmania through community-based hotels, employing over 400 people state-wide. The Vantage Group comprises 12 venues around Tasmania, which provide a combination of bar, gaming, bistro, accommodation, and entertainment services to our customers. **What you can expect in a day in the role**:
Get ready for a fun and dynamic role As a food and Beverage attendant, you will be pouring delicious drinks for our guests, engaging with our gaming patrons by answering their questions ensuring they're having a great time, and delivering fantastic customer service to all of our guests.

To succeed in this position, you will have:

- Exceptional customer service skills, preferably gained from previous experience working in gaming/hospitality.- Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays.- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and a current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificate.**What you’ll bring to the role**:
We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, initiative, and a team player mindset, as well as:

- Cash handling proficiency- Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures- An understanding of food & beverage products and services- A professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work autonomously- A “can do” attitude with the ability to take initiative**What you can expect from us**:
