This Government Department is responsible for delivering policies and programmes that support the Australian Community. This program provides support to individuals who have experienced hardship and need assistance through providing counselling, case management and financial support.

Are you passionate about research?

As a data and research officer, you will be working with a wider team, and you will be responsible for developing a monitoring and evaluation framework that will look at indicators to ensure the overarching framework is being fulfilled. Although you will not be the number cruncher or need to use any data software, having an understanding of data languages will be highly beneficial for you to hit the ground running. As well as this you will also:

- Drive the establishment of the evaluation of the national framework
- Work to commission organisations or universities to run the evaluation
- Manage the teams correspondence, briefing and reporting needs

As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must.

You'll have a passion for people and supporting the disadvantaged. Having worked in a project management, research or evaluation environment, you will be able to hit the ground running to excel in this team. You're natural leadership and attention will be able to shine and make a positive impact to the team.
