- Due to an increased level of new clients and projects and our strategy to develop and expand our business, SLR’s CFD, Wind & Energy team are looking to recruit an experienced engineer. The successful applicant will be confident in leading projects and will provide input and support on a wide range of interesting and challenging projects including new and innovative technologies.Key Responsibilities
**Skills and experience**
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Management or similar
- Experience with Green Star and ISA rating schemes and submission
- Experience in development of organisation and project sustainability strategies to achieve outcomes for our clients
- Thorough understanding of sustainability compliance measures including NCC Section, NABERS Energy & Water
- Experience in technical design documentation including greenhouse gas emission, life cycle analysis, climate change risk and adaptation and reporting
- Interest in circular economy, climate change adaptation and resilience
- Proven ability to do strategic business development with excellent client contacts and history of building pipeline of work and growing a team
- Positive, can-do attitude
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
Coupled with having an outgoing and positive energy you will be responsible for:
- Lead sustainability role within the Sydney office
- Develop and document analysis completed
- Completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction
- Liaise with local authorities and contractors as well as other leading consultants from other disciplines in the Melbourne office and collaborate with others on the national scene
- Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures
- Contribute to our company culture
