Your new role as Sustainability Consultant will see you contribute to a variety of sustainability related projects which are currently committed within Sustainability team and to service the wider Arup business. The role will also involve you working on a range of topics including sustainable building design and building optimisation, decarbonisation strategies, circular economy, and sustainability rating tools.

**The Opportunity**
You will work as part of a larger team delivering ESD/sustainable design strategies across a range of building types
You will be involved from master planning stages of projects along with precinct-scale projects to design development and delivery of project documentation.
You will assist in strategies to ensure a project can meet any sustainability requirements such as NABERS, NetZero emissions targets, Green Star Buildings, BASIX, and Green Star Communities ratings requirements.
Building Physics included but not limited to Energy modelling, Daylight, Glare, Thermal Comfort, Microclimate, LCA, CFD and other related analysis.
You will be working within our software systems to undertake analysis of projects and work closely with senior members of the team to ensure robust and high-quality work.
**Is this role right for you?**
Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, Sustainability or similar area.
4+ years relevant industry experience in Sustainability, Energy Modelling or Building Physics within a consulting business environment.
Experience of quantitative and qualitative data analysis and a track record of producing insights and findings from analysis
Knowledge of building energy assessment
Experience and proven track record in sustainability strategy/reporting
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as well as excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
