**About the role**

The IGA Local Grocer Parry Ave Fresh Bull Creek is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team. As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store located in Bull Creek, WA 6149. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs efficiently and provides an exceptional customer experience.

**What you'll be doing**
- Manage and lead a team of retail associates, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee all store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall store performance
- Ensure the store is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement
- Collaborate with the head office to implement corporate initiatives and best practices
- Analyse store data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery or food retail industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost management
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a passion for providing a positive customer experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with retail systems and technologies, including point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management software
- A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
