**About**the role**:
Origin is currently recruiting for several roles that will be integral in embedding a simpler, more efficient more strategic procurement operating model at Origin.

The Analyst - Commercial is an important operational role within the Origin Procurement team, responsible for generating commercial insights from internal and external data sources to inform procurement decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver routine and ad hoc commercial and financial reports to meet business needs.
- Analyse procurement, financial, and operational data to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders to address commercial challenges.
- Offer analytical support for contract reviews, negotiations, market benchmarking and category planning activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators and commercial metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand commercial challenges and provide data-driven recommendatio
- Identify and support the simplification and automation of reporting processes and analytical tools.
- Proactively comply with all relevant HSE legislation and support a safe, respectful work environment.

**What will you bring?**

You will role model Origin’s values, be self-driven, with ability to be proactive and take initiative. A team player with ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of people across levels, building positive, productive working relationships.
- Proven experience in a commercial, financial, or analytical role.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting processes.
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Desirable experience with ERP systems (like SAP) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present complex insights to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
