**About the role**

The Marketing Platform Specialist sits within the Marketing Platforms Team and plays a key role in maintaining and operationalising new and existing digital marketing platforms and technologies.

This role is critical in supporting the marketing team in the daily maintenance, ongoing enhancement and capability support for marketing technologies including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud.

**What does your day to day look like?**
- Administration and team support for key marketing technology platforms - Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud & Skyvia.
- In line with the marketing capability roadmap, lead projects to enhance functionality and usability of marketing platforms.
- Utilise Agile project management methodology to lead the delivery & implementation of specific Marketing Technology initiatives in in line with broader MarTech roadmap
- Assist with identifying and managing the improvement of digital platform processes and technical features that drive efficiency, improve business capability and engagement across the business.
- In consultation with key stakeholders, develop and maintain feature backlog for each platform.
- Day-to-day admin and maintenance - troubleshooting, onboarding new users, access permissions, assisting with HTML/CSS issues, contact management, etc.

Enough about us, let’s talk about youyou are excited by Salesforce Marketing Cloud and have experience ideally in technology, operations, e-commerce or digital marketing in a customer facing organisation.

You will also have significant experience in Salesforce and have a strong understand of languages such as AmpScript, Server Side JavaScript, HTML/CSS & Apex.

A familiarity with Agile project methodology will see you succeed in this role.

You will also have the demonstrated ability to proactively pursue opportunities which may lead to performance improvements and drive more effective platform utilisation.
