**About the firm**
Our client is an established law firm who have many years of successful experience servicing the legal needs of the local area. They are seeking a highly competent Leasing & Conveyancing Paralegal to provide a high level of support to the Commercial & Property team.

**About the role**:
You will be required to support the Partners and other lawyers with running leasing and conveyancing files across residential conveyancing and Sub-Division matters.

**Duties will include**:

- Drafting retail and commercial leases and disclosure statements
- Preparation of all sale and purchase documentations including Contract of Sale, Section 32, Vendor's Statement, Section 27 and related settlement documents for off-the-plan
- Property Information Searches and other searches as required
- Preparation of Adjustments and account for disbursements
- Use of PEXA on-line settlements platform to complete settlements
- File management including opening and closing files
- Drafting general correspondence of documents and letters

**What you need to be considered**:

- A qualification including a Diploma of Conveyancing, Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing or a Diploma of Legal Practice and/or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role Specific Knowledge and Skills.
- Experience using PEXA and Duties Online.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with a broad range of software including Microsoft PowerPoint, digital dictation, document management systems and databases including Open Practice.
- A strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills and skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
