Your new role

As a Marketing and Communications Officer you will be part of an innovative, inclusive team.

With a focus on content creation and evaluation across our platforms and collateral, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and delivering marketing and communications campaigns and activities to support Merri Health’s strategic objectives
- Championing our brand and ensuring high quality creative and consistent messaging to internal and external audiences
- Creating and updating content across our digital and social media platforms and print collateral
- Contributing to the development of Merri Health’s public profile through innovative ideas
- Liaising within internal and external stakeholders and suppliers including creative agencies, designers, printers, copywriters
- Supporting PR opportunities
- Assisting with general photography, video, and design
- Implementing efficient systems to help track and manage marketing operations

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful with Merri you will be passionate about achieving great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:

- Qualifications and experience in marketing, communications, public relations, media or related field
- Two (2) years in a similar marketing or communications role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong writing skills and ability to create engaging content
- Intermediate-advanced IT computer literacy, including Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
