Our beautiful **EXCEEDING** Nido Early School Bassendean is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our purpose-built 83 place service with wonderful families, children, and educators. **About Us** **Nido Education currently owns, manages, and operates over 90 long day-care facilities across Australia for children from birth to school age. We are passionate about providing exceptional quality education and care for Australian children and we seek to provide a professional and nurturing family-type environment that supports children through their emotional, social, and physical learning **ABOUT THE SERVICE**: - Caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old across 5 rooms and 3 beautiful outdoor play areas - Incredible in-service support from a full time Service Administrator and full time Curriculum Leader. - Outstanding long standing Area Manager to guide you through your career - Walking distance to local coffee shop and park - Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation. - Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday **BENEFITS**: - Full time role available - 5 days a week, however a 9-day fortnight would also be considered - Competitive above award salary on offer inclusive of the MEA agreement - Childcare discount for your own children - A comprehensive 2 week induction and onboarding program, plus enhanced development opportunities through our partnership with the ECA Learning Hub - Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - Telus Health - "Rise Up" - Executive Service Manager leadership programme - Continuous learning and professional development through online platform - Nido recognition day - we love to celebrate you - Access to ECA Learning Modules - gift of learning - Nido anniversary celebrations and recognition pins - Discounted Bupa Membership **SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**: - Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) - Have a minimum of 2 years experience in managing a child care service as a Centre Director or similar - In depth understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality outcomes for the children - Provide guidance, leadership, mentorship, and support to a diverse team of educators, culinary professionals, trainees, and students. - You have a vision to support local families and their children by mentoring and leading your team to exceptional heights - A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain - Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain **A note from the Nido family**: I have been a part of the Nido Nest for just over 6 years now, joining when my middle son was just a few months old.
