**About Electronic Monitoring**

G4S provides real-time management of offenders in the community for the Department for Correctional Services (DCS) in South Australia. This safeguards communities and surveys people's compliance with their bail, curfew and parole conditions. This involves overseeing the performance of 1500 GPS devices, the monitoring software platform, and the infrastructure that supports it.

**About the role and team**

In this role you'll be reporting to our Electronic Monitoring Contract Lead based in Melbourne, and be working closely with our Logistics Coordinator also based in Adelaide. You'll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to effect day to day contract management along with working collaboratively with the Operational team within South Australia Department for Correctional Services. A key part of the role is supporting our technology and tagging infrastructure, ensuring accountability and traceability for changes to Electronic Monitoring systems and equipment.

In the role you will:

- Plan and implement system upgrades to enhance service continuity and user experience.
- Whilst the software and hardware have been developed by our UK parent, you will be expected to provide first-level support and advice to DCS during system, hardware, software and telco failures.
- Escalate issues to our UK-based technology teams, which may involve attending virtual meetings outside of normal business hours on an infrequent basis.
- Manage and develop processes and procedures to meet contractual KPIs, including putting together technology roadmaps.
- Provide first-line support for equipment testing.
- Manage reporting requirements, including client and incident reports, and provide data for invoicing.

**What we're looking for**
- Broad understanding of the software and hardware technologies related to GPS tracking.
- Exceptional customer service skills to be able to work collaboratively and positively with DCS.
- A current driver's license
