You will work closely with other members of the Sustainability & Community Impact team and colleagues across the business to develop our organisational maturity and generate advocacy. You will effectively manage competing priorities, set realistic timelines, and drive activities to achieve targets. You will focus on opportunities and risks that are important to our communities and that have the potential to impact upon our business model.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Contributing to the ongoing development of the People First Bank community strategy and sustainability framework
- Managing the development and implementation of the People First Bank Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan
- Develop and maintain an annual program of internal and external events to recognise periods of community or cultural significance (e.g. National Reconciliation Week, National Volunteer Week)
- Manage the People First Bank's employee volunteering program - Good Squad - with the dual objectives of delivering positive impact to our communities and increasing employee engagement
- Contribute to People First Bank's impact reporting and ongoing disclosures

**About you**:
You are committed to making a positive impact to the communities in which we operate and you thrive on the opportunity to build collaborative relationships with community groups, charities, and other external stakeholders. Your recent work experience in either a sustainability, financial services or community partnerships role demonstrates your high level of business acumen and your ability to work towards strategic business objectives.

We also seek:

- A strong understanding of how environmental and social concerns relate to material business risks and opportunities
- Experience contributing to reports and presenting information in a clear, engaging and concise manner
- Expertise in influencing outcomes with internal and external stakeholders and/or mitigating issues to achieve outcomes
- Experience interacting and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes
