Our capability extends across the entire project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility studies to engineering design, technology trials, project delivery and operational support services.

To support our strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Team Lead Designer, this role will be responsible for amending and producing detailed drawings in AutoCAD or MicroStation for engineering projects spanning various clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Producing detailed design drawings for engineering projects.
- Translating conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings; general layouts, process flow diagrams, schematics, terminations, single line drawings and the like.
- As-building of plant before project commencement and/or at project completion.
- Occasional attendance at site to conduct field inspections of electrical installations for translating to drafted representations.
- Liaising closely with the senior and lead designers, engineers and project manager on key milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure designs follow client requirements as well as industry and Australian standards.
- Ensure designs are implemented safely and risks are managed.
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and passionate in learning.

**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years relevant working experience in cad design on Industrial Projects or sites.
- CAD Design experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Associate diploma in Electrical Drafting or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial electrical, instrument, control systems and communications.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

**Desirable**
- Design drafting capabilities.
- As-building experience.
- BHP or RTIO or similar drawing experience.
- Knowledge of applicable client and Australian/ Local standards.
