**The Role: Production Technician**

Based in Rydalmere, NSW you will join a team who provide a range of production activities that include the manufacture & assembly sonar and communication systems for our UVX business.

As our Production Technician you will be accountable for:

- Carrying out assembly and installation for products involving complex electrical / electronic systems.
- Conducting acceptance testing in accordance with system test plans, specifications and operational data.
- Troubleshoot and investigate faults and issues in products identified during assembly.
- Monitor activities against KPI’s, verify quality/conformance of product to specification and take corrective action to ensure schedule, cost and quality standards are maintained.
- Assist Production Engineering in root cause analysis of production variances and recurring issues then development and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintain technical documentation and information involving assembly & installation for products produced and supported by the business.

**How About You?**
- Electrical / Mechanical background will be highly desired
- Sound problem solving skills with linear and logical troubleshooting skills
- Assembly, cable looming, Military Connector Termination
- Ability to interpret engineering/electrical drawings, documentation, in-service reports and test results, etc as required in support of troubleshooting, estimation and development activities.
- Knowledge of quality concepts, standards, systems and programs and their importance to the organisations success.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills.
- Self motivated, proactive, detail orientated and organised

**Good to Know**

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.

As part of our standard process you will complete a police, medical, employment and references.
