Take your skills into the field with an industry leader in Parking Guidance Systems, EV Charging, and Intelligent Transport Solutions. Hands-on, varied, and customer-focused.
About Us
BRAUMS is a leading Australian provider of Parking Guidance Systems (PGS), EV Charging Stations, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). As Australia's leading LED traffic light manufacturer, we design and deliver cutting-edge solutions that power smart cities and future-ready transport networks.
Our products include PGS, EV Charging, ITS Field Cabinets, Variable Message Signs (VMS), Traffic Signals, Smart City Management, Lighting, IoT-enabled monitoring solutions, and more.
The Role
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Sydney.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be out in the field — installing, commissioning, testing, maintaining, and fault-finding BRAUMS equipment. While most of your work will be in NSW, the role may occasionally require interstate travel to support projects nationally.
You'll play a key role in ensuring customer success, providing responsive support, and delivering reliable solutions that keep our technology operating at the highest standard.
About You
We're looking for a practical, customer-focused technician who enjoys solving problems in the field and takes pride in delivering quality work.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Valid Electrical Contractor's Licence.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Technician or Electrician qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with Ethernet/IP networks, wireless technologies, and VPN/remote access.
- Knowledge of WHS practices and use of SWMS documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safe use of hand tools.
- Unrestricted Driver's Licence.
- Excellence in customer communications.
Preferred:
- Experience with renewable energy or PV technology.
- Interest in solar and sustainable technologies.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a market leader in Parking, EV Charging, and ITS.
- A dynamic and innovative work environment where your contributions make a real impact.
- Work on a diverse range of projects that make cities smarter and safer.
- A hands-on, field-based role with variety and problem-solving every day.
- A supportive team culture that values safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Opportunities for career growth and professional development. You will not be on your own. Training will be provided, and we have a team of more than 40 staff nationally all wanting you to be successful along with us.
- Base + Super + Service Vehicle.
