**About the Role**
Are you passionate about Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Neuromuscular Disease, and want to make a significant difference in patient's lives living with these diseases? Do you have a strong background in leadership, sales and marketing within the Pharmaceutical industry? Do you want to lead a high performing team to commercial success? Reporting to the Business Unit Director, MS and Neuromuscular, you will be part of the Commercial Leadership team and be responsible for the management of all commercial functions of the Neuromuscular Disease portfolio. You will lead a team of Sales & Marketing professionals, including Specialty Care Managers and Product Managers by inspiring and motivating the team, providing strategic direction and supporting the development of territory and marketing plans to maximise business returns. You will own the P&L and strategy of the business unit and will have a team of 4 reporting into you. You will ensure maximum commercial success by engaging and managing the appropriate sales and marketing resourcing and realizing the potential of all key accounts.
You will act as a positive change agent who pro-actively disseminates appropriate information to key stakeholders and also supports and develops key external relationships, while keeping the organization informed of sales and marketing performance. You will communicate with internal regional and global stakeholders and will be responsible for the commercialization of pipeline assets that align appropriately with the overall business unit structure.
