We are currently seeking an experience customer service administrator to work as a Service Desk Officer professional for a 12-month contract for a federal government department based in a Perth location.

**About the role**:

- You will be responsible for coordinating departmental and provider system related enquiries
- You will be processing systems tickets and ensuring resources information is up to date.
- You will be providing general administration duties including basic troubleshooting and data collection
- You will be accurately supporting the designation of requests and ensuring appropriate delegation and prioritising of requests.
- You will be able to, in the absence of team leaders, be able to refer to established procedures and protocols to identify and resolve issues.
- You will be able to assess when to escalate issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient outcomes.

**About you**:

- You will have exceptional communication skills
- You will ideally have experience in a customer service/contact centre role
- You will have a good understanding of Service Desk Management Principles
- You will have excellent delegation, prioritisation, and organisational skills
- You will have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- You will be able to demonstrate a high level of relevant computer literacy skills

**Benefits**:

- ASAP start pending Federal Police Clearance
- 12-month temporary assignment (with the possibility of extension)
- $40 per hour + super
- Full time hours Monday - Friday
