An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate people leader to lead the Language Services, Workforce and Law Reform team as Manager in the Multicultural Affairs Policy branch within the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
This team is responsible for leading the language services reforms, workforce related policies and projects and law reform initiatives which help to improve outcomes for multicultural Victorians.
The Manager, Language Services, Workforce and Law Reform will lead a high-performing team to develop and deliver policies and programs which strengthen outcomes for Victoria's culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
As the Manager, you will also use your outstanding leadership and people management skills to manage a team in the development, coordination, and delivery of language services reforms in Victoria. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders across government and non-government sectors to support effective policy and program delivery.

**About you**
- Demonstrated effective people management to support and create the conditions for a high functioning, productive and engaged team.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and leadership skills in addressing issues from the perspective of what the government requires and translating organisational strategy into meaningful long-term plans and objectives.
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to identify practical solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated experience providing authoritative, high quality and timely advice on program and/or project design, implementation and evaluation in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Strong interpersonal, representational and communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate and develop effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and partners.
