**About the role**

As a **People Capability Specialist,** you will manage learning and capability development projects from concept to delivery, building a skilled and competent workforce and driving activities that strengthen our organisational talent.

You will manage learning initiatives and pathways as part of the WesCEF Competency Management System and WesCEF Learning & Development Strategy ensuring ongoing continuous improvement, competency and compliance.

**Your day to day will involve**:

- Managing and leading People Capability projects; consulting, educating and influencing key stakeholders on capability development and competency management.
- Collaborating with business SME’s in the development and maintenance of capability and competency frameworks, competency matrices, internal training programs and online learning content.
- Analysing and identifying the capability gaps and development opportunities for individuals, teams and business units.
- Coaching and guiding internal Subject Matter Experts to build and deliver programs that meet adult learning principles and vocational education best practice in design, delivery and assessment.
- Gathering, reviewing and utilising metrics and data, to drive ongoing improvements in capability development content and learner experience.
- Sourcing external training providers to ensure the cost effective delivery of impactful learning programs with measurable results.
- Participate in and contribute to Safety initiatives and identify and share Safety process improvements to enhance effectiveness and maintain industry standards and compliance.

**You will have**:

- Demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and/or Diploma of Training Design and Development, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the design, development and implementation of blended learning programs with expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Strong influencing, relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and a desire to make an impact.
- Experience in design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of capability and competency frameworks.
- Current knowledge of legislative statutory & regulatory codes, ethical standards and industry best practice.
- Experience of working in changing environments with demonstrated resilience and ability to pivot when required.
- Experience working in blue collar industries (experience working in a major hazard facility will be highly regarded).
- Ability to travel to Murdoch Office location as required.
