A bit about your role

This role will manage the effective and efficient delivery of Fleet related services for nbn’s national leased, owned, hired fleet vehicles and portable network infrastructure.

As nbn’s Fleet Specialist, you will lead and improve technical specifications and capabilities across the Fleet. You will review, collect, analyse, and translate information from many different sources and requirements into nbn Fleet solutions for a variety of diverse business units. You will propose, drive, and implement these solutions to meet nbn requirements whilst balancing and prioritising daily complexities, initiatives, and enquiries from over 20 business customer groups which include internal customer groups within nbn, and a large external Fleet and Fleet equipment supply chain.

The role will require you to develop strong relationships with customers, equipment and plant suppliers and manufacturers to meet the nbn developing requirements.

A bit about you

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong industry background in Fleet Management, Automotive and Plant Equipment, Transport, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar related industry. You will have demonstrated experience with national project planning, organisation and integration with the ability to balance simultaneous initiatives including progress tracking and reporting experience.

You will have experience managing a fleet size exceeding 500 vehicles with duties varying from asset maintenance and lifecycle management to complex operational performance and capability enquires and industry market insights. You will have enjoy solving problems and you will have a passion for delivering great customer experience.
