- The Role:

- Working for Mercedes-Benz Australia in this full time 3-year contracted role, you will become a brand ambassador and embody our reputation for service excellence and our care in providing flexible, innovative and tailor-made solutions. - This role will work alongside the Department of Defence. Based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will join a high performing Customer Services team and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day inventory transactions and routines for our Military G-Wagon Fleet, ensuring the timely and effective completion of tasks and assisting the National Fleet Manager with key reviews, plans, budgets and deliverables.
- Key duties & responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to material logistics inventory and asset management
- Acquire knowledge of and check work against relevant policy, processes and procedures in accordance with Defence requirements
- Review requirements for determination reports and suggest replenishment orders
- Prepare Disposal Directives for approval submission and action the Business Process Monitoring (BPM) outstanding tasks list
- Create procurement forms (proposals) for inventory replenishment, review procurement requirements and raise procurement requests
- Support the technical team in codifying new items in the NMCRL Portal
- Assess whether new items need to be included in the MILIS (Military Integrated Logistics Information System) catalogue for Australian fleet use
- Identify opportunities for on-the-job training within the fleet team

**Qualifikationen**:

- What you will need to be successful:
- At least one year of Logistics experience is desirable
- Bachelor of Business or similar is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and planning skills
- Highly developed analytical skills - Ability to take complex data and present it in a logical and easy to understand format, as well advanced excel skills- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Experienced negotiation/influencing skills
- Ability to lead a team of people, at all levels, for effective collaboration and decision making
