You will be responsible for ensuring daily accounts receivable tasks are completed including processing patient refund paperwork, following up on outstanding payments, and handling queries from patients and our clinic sites. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to providing comprehensive care to patients and customers.

**What you will do**:

- Handling of both i**nbound and outbound telephone queries** with patients and our clinic sites.
- Completion of d**aily accounts receivable tasks** such as: finalising patient refund paperwork, reviewing returned mail, liaising with Medicare on returned payments
- Accurate and timely receipting of cheques, credit cards and related payments
- Collecting outstanding or **overdue invoices**
- Ensure that all patient and inter-departmental enquiries are handled in accordance with the current I-MED policy

**Your experience**:

- Previous **experience** in Accounts Receivable role within a **medium to large organisation**
- Experience in the healthcare industry and exposure to Medicare Benefits Schedule is highly regarded
- It would be highly beneficial to have experience with **Visage and Comrad** platforms.
- Exposure to a **high-volume environment** and the ability to work toward deadlines
- Strong understanding of **medical coding and billing** processes
