Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS) is a major provider of healthcare in the South Gippsland Shire. GSHS offers a broad range of services that meet the needs of a diverse and sparsely populated area. With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.**About the Role**
Applications are invited from interested persons for the above position to provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and other Executives.**About You**
You will be required to be discreet, tactful and flexible in dealing with a range of issues. The successful applicant must posess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years experience providing administrative duties at an executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement and handle discretely matters of a sensitive nature.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work harmoniously with senior managers.
- Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work without direct supervision, exercise initiative and discretion, and perform duties in a highly professional manner.
- Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and desktop publishing packages.
- Capacity and willingness to be flexible and to adapt to changing environments.
- Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.-
