Job Tasks and Duties:

- Contract and category management: drive value to the members through initially providing category support with development to full ownership of categories;
- Planning, developing and organizing advertising policies and campaigns in support of sales objectives;
- Stakeholder engagement: advising executives of leading Australian retail businesses and suppliers on target markets, customer awareness and efficiently promoting the company’s goods and services;
- Develop 3-5 year Category Plans that align with NARTA member requirements;
- Strategic sourcing: provide support including market research involving specialist activities as required, scope definition, tender document preparation, tender evaluation, scenario analysis, negotiation, communication and award within time and budget targets;
- Commissioning and undertaking market research to identify market opportunities for new and existing goods and services;
- Research potential demand on market characteristics exhibiting supplier performance management: analyse data and statistical information for supplier performance for new goods and services, support supplier performance discussions, and create/develop strong relationships with suppliers;
- Analysing data, interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends along with patterns and preferences;
- Training: acquire basic functional experience including procurement, sourcing and supplier relationship management;
- Present to stakeholders at all levels on all elements of marketing both internally and externally;
- Supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs;

**Salary**: $90,000.00 per year
