We’re searching for a Part Time Food & Beverage Attendant confident in delivering unforgettable experiences through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service. Whether delivering room service, upselling the dish of the day in the restaurant, or maintaining a well-stocked breakfast buffet - you’ll be motivated and confident moving between our outlets.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**:

- Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us
- Working closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to deliver a truly seamless food and beverage service
- Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests
- Handling cash and credit transactions
- In the bar, you will be mixing a range of sophisticated drinks.
- Helping set exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment
- Minimising waste and keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents
- Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly

**What we need from you**:
At InterContinental Adelaide, we love people who are authentic, confident, and passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences. We are looking for positive people with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude Our Neighborhood hosts will ideally bring a passion for the Adelaide region and be willing to immerse themselves to continually build their knowledge.

You will also have:

- Experience & knowledge - strong bar skills and previous experience working in a hotel, restaurant or bar is essential
- The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling
- Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
- The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (SA/Nationally Accredited) & Food Safety Certificate
- The unrestricted right to work in Australia
