
Customer and Market Lead Southern

**About the role**:
Reporting to the National Marketing and Product Manager, play an integral role in the strategic execution of National Market and Customer initiatives, to drive best practices across our footprint to achieve financial and market share objectives.
This role can be based out of either VIC (Dandenong or Derrimut) OR SA (Pt. Adelaide) InfraBuild locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development of national marketing initiatives across multiple horizons, and lead the execution in the Southern Region
- Develop market and customer plans with relevant managers to achieve growth in key segments, and actions to improve their value proposition.
- Embed sales tools and enablers to drive better selling disciplines and behaviours.
- Develop capability of external & internal salespeople
- Canvas deep market insight to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for growth in existing and new markets.
- Identify service shortfalls in locations & states and assist the teams to find and deploy workable solutions across our footprint
- Provide governance, reporting & feedback to state managers and locations on the above.
- Identify future opportunities for continuous improvement to drive sustainability through external benchmarking
**About your experience**:

Being resourceful, having strong communications skills is a must to be able to work effectively in a diverse team and at all levels of the organisation. You are enthusiastic, tenacious and can translate significant data into concise, meaningful and actionable information.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Significant experience and demonstrated record of achieving results in Sales & Marketing
- Excellent analytical skills and strategic analysis
- Good research skills for understanding the external market.
- Complex problem-solving skills
- Good communications skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Good presentation skills to stakeholders of all levels.
- High level of computer literacy with advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a calm manner, prioritise competing demands and solve enquiries efficiently.
- A flexible, team-work approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Able to understand the needs of customers and clearly engage and communicate them
- Commitment and willingness to learn, dedication to growth, self-learning and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, in a challenging and fast-changing environment
