**About the position**:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an **Assistant Night Manager** who is self-motivated and who has strong analytical abilities. We are seeking an individual who is always seeking to improve processes to make the day to day operations run more efficiently. If you are professional, task and procedure driven, with great attention to detail then we want you on our team.

Supporting the Night Manager, the Assistant Night Manager will ensure the smooth running of the night operations and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities. We are looking for a results focused person who creates a positive impact by delivering a high standard of customer service.

**The key responsibilities for the role include**:

- Support hotel management to implement new procedures and ensure all team members have a complete understanding of hotel policies and procedures
- Create management reports with absolute accuracy
- Assist to develop the skills and effectiveness of the Front Office team by training and coaching
- Conduct regular floor walks, interact with guests, encourage customer feedback and ensure that all guest requests and feedback are followed up in a timely manner
- Complete an audit of daily hotel operations and general reception duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure an open flow of communication is maintained between AM, PM and night team members
- Providing excellent and timely service for guest registration and departure

**To succeed in this role you will**:

- Must be able to work 11:00pm - 7:30am over a 7-day rotating roster
- Have sound **organisational skills** with the ability to priorities and multitask in a busy environment
- Be an **exceptional communicator** with the ability to build rapport
- ** Excellent** attention to detail and analytical skills
- OPERA system and **front office experience.**
