**Your Role**:
Based in North Coast Region - office location can be negotiated and include a choice of Maroochydore, Maryborough and Bundaberg.
As Principal Advisor Restrictive Practice Standards, your responsibilities include:

- Supporting delivery of evidence-based strategies and approaches to build more inclusive school learning environments.
- Ensuring the progression of strategies and initiatives to improve educational outcomes by eliminating restrictive practices in schools, and assessing current status of schools and regions in the implementation of restrictive practice standards.
- Managing the implementation of procedures and guidelines associated with the use of restrictive practices in Queensland state schools.
- Working with schools and regions to build capability, skills and knowledge strategies to reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practices.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Manager Student Services or nominated delegate.

The Principal Advisor Restrictive Practice Standards reports to the Manager Student Services, North Coast Region.

**About You**:
Strong communicator and recent experience relevant to the role.

**Mandatory Requirements**:
Travel across North Coast region may be required.
