The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logístical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. **About the position**
The System Analyst Coordinator will support the analysis and requirements gathering for multiple programs of work that underpins Parliament’s digital capabilities that support business and public engagement.
**About you**
As a System Analyst you will support the analysis, design, and delivery of digital solutions that enhance Parliament’s business operations and public engagement. The role involves capturing and refining business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and contributing to future strategies for upgrading technology systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring alignment of business and technical objectives, preparing tender documentation, identifying risks, and developing test scripts and technical architectures.
This position requires strong problem-solving skills, effective stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business terms. The System Analyst will work across two project streams and will have the capability to work closely with IT Services, Department of Parliamentary Services, and other teams to deliver solutions that meet organisational needs while balancing priorities, timelines, and budgets.
