The Principal Piping, Pumps & Water Management Engineer will provide consistent leadership and role modelling of Jacobs’ core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture across the PU that embodies Jacobs’ Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of people. This role will focus on leading the pursuit and delivery of key opportunities within the new energy and resources sector. The primary focus of the role will be to support studies from our clients in new energy and resources but may also cross over into downstream delivery phases. This appointment will focus on developing a Jacobs offering that leverages our existing multi-disciplinary capability providing a unique value proposition for our clients. - Being instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects in the new energy and resources market. - The role will support cross functional teams, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the new energy and resources portfolio. - Key to this role will be to lead the Piping, Pumps & Water Management engineering elements delivery of study (and potentially delivery) phases of projects. This will require leading the interface with local and regional delivery as well as GID delivery centres in order to build and improve delivery within the sector. - Bid preparation and submittals as required, support section leader, project managers in the delivery of financially successful projects whilst achieving excellent client satisfaction. - Develop and maintain strong key client relationships - act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients across the sector. - Develop Jacobs’ capabilities and reputation in APAC by representing Jacobs at key thought leadership events. resources. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - 15 years professional experience in relevant industry Current knowledge of international and local engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with new energy and resources projects. - Current knowledge of international and local engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with new energy and resources projects - Experience with various aspects of the planning, design and commissioning processes, construction methods and interface requirements of multi-disciplinary projects **Jacobs.
