**Overview**:

- rhi is recruiting for a **Principal Piping Designer** across a portfolio of projects and introduce fresh perspectives and expertise to our clients current teams.- You will be contributing to some of Australia's significant oil and gas projects, both in greenfield and brownfield developments.**Responsibilities**:

- To be successful, you have prior senior designer level working experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering and maintenance project environment with both onshore and offshore scopes with particular emphasis on Brownfields modifications.**What we are looking for**:

- Demonstrated experience to drive design teams to deliver Quality design deliverables
- Demonstrated capability of performing the full range of discipline design and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills
- Technical associate’s degree or equivalent in education and/or experience
- Demonstrated ability to check piping deliverables
- Self starter with the ability to guide / train junior level designers.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualified in Engineering / Drafting
- Minimum of 15 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry
- Minimum 5 years in Principal Design role managing project scopes and resources
- Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements
- Ability to problem solve effectively
- Attention to detail
- Ideally a competency in E3D CAD systems.
