About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Ecommerce team as an Ecommerce Specialist. Reporting directly to the Ecommerce Manager, you will play a crucial role in the management and maintenance of our ecommerce website. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Ecommerce team in executing the digital strategy and delivering an exceptional ecommerce experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the coordinator to efficiently manage product enrichment with strong attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
- Conduct online product merchandising and regularly review the website to ensure accurate, relevant, and up-to-date product content aligned with our digital merchandising and content strategy.
- Liaise with the product team to understand product delivery dates and stock availability across the retail network, ensuring efficient online product enrichment processes.
- Work closely with SEO teams to optimize product content for search and adhere to SEO best practices.
- Provide support for marketing campaigns, product launches, and retail activities through regular and relevant content updates.
- Manage homepage banners and website content updates according to the digital marketing calendar.
- Assist the Ecommerce Manager in pricing and promotion-related tasks as required.
- Implement the digital and content marketing plan to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Project manage online campaigns and promotional activities, including asset briefing, EDM creation, and timeline management for on-time delivery.
- Aid the CRM team in growing the subscriber database through tactical acquisition campaigns.
- Support the retail network in updating store contact details on the websites and through Google Places.
- Develop and implement relevant content and product landing pages to support marketing campaigns when needed.
- Analyze and report on the ROI of campaign outcomes.
- Act as the ecommerce ambassador and collaborate with the customer service team to deliver outstanding customer service experiences to online customers.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure a seamless and best-in-class customer experience.
- Drive online sales to meet financial targets and profit budgets, actively trading the online business.
- Stay updated on industry, online, and mobile shopping trends, remaining aware of competition and ecommerce opportunities.
- Ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
**To Be Successful, You Will Need**:
Demonstrated 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in the footwear, retail, or wholesale industry is highly regarded.
A marketing or business degree/diploma (preferred, but not required).
Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Google Analytics (or similar).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
