**THE ROLE**
The Manager leads workforce data analysis, coordination and special projects to drive better decisions by providing key decision-makers with high quality data and reporting. The role develops workforce analytics, reporting, data science and key metric development functions, and implements strategies to convert internal and external data and information to knowledge and actionable insights that drive strategic planning and maximises outcomes.
You will bring your technical expertise and demonstrated competency in data analytics and reporting, as well as broader policy understanding of the social services system and associated workforces. You will bring familiarity with data collection and reporting processes, and confidence that you are quickly able to become familiar with various workforce surveys, forecasting models and other tools that could be used to inform the Branch's work.
The role works collegiately with internal and external stakeholders. The Manager is required to identify future workforce analytic and reporting capability requirements and develop a roadmap to drive the transition to a more mature, data-driven program of work.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Lead end-to-end workforce analytics and reporting functions to ensure consistent and best-practice techniques are utilised.
- Identify opportunities to develop and improve workforce reports and analytics approaches to deliver better business outcomes.
- Lead the development of systems, methodology and processes to convert data and information to actionable insights and organisational knowledge.
