Remuneration and Benefits Manager

Ampersand have partnered with a global law firm, renowned for their culture and innovation, to appoint a Remuneration and Benefits Manager to spearhead their compensation and benefits model in Australia.
Sitting as part of the broader HR function and reporting into an impressive Head of HR, this is newly created role will see you have responsibility for leading on annual compensation events (such as pay and bonus reviews), conducting data analysis (budgeting, project work), managing the in-country benefits platform and in completing standard reward activities (benchmarking, query resolution)
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Project managing the annual remuneration review cycle including salary reviews and bonuses.
- Developing project and communication plans with key stakeholders and the P&D team.
- Project managing the annual and mid-year performance cycle and system, associated KPI frameworks and the annual promotions process.
- Establish and lead project teams across P&D to deliver programs.
- Understanding and interpreting market data and research.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to design models and mechanisms to evaluate the ROI on the annual remuneration and performance programs and support other ad-hoc strategic projects within the team.
**To be successful in this role**:
- At least 5 years' experience managing remuneration and performance cycles.
- Proven experience delivering projects on time and to a high quality.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills and ability to present both written and verbally to peers and management.
- Very high degree of accuracy with data and content.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and a commercial mindset.
- Sound understanding of change management and methods for process simplification/efficiencies.
- Strong excel skills.
