The Mornington Hotel located at 917 Nepean Hwy. Mornington, 3931, is looking for an experienced Hotel Duty Manager to assisting with the management of all operational departments within the Hotel.

Located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Mornington Hotel offers guests the best 4 Star Accommodation in the local area. The Hotel also arranges functions for many occasions from birthdays to anniversaries, special occasions, conferences and corporate meetings for a variety of group sizes. We also operate a bottle shop and a sports bar and a Bistro.

As a Duty Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations of all the departments such as Bar, Accommodation, Functions, Retail and Bistro while maintaining high service standards. The role will be Full time and you will be responsible for overseeing the guest experience, managing staff, maintaining compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency and also be involved with venue safety, responsible service of alcohol and assisting with training and mentoring of staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Direct and oversee reservation, reception, Hospitality services ad other hospitality related activities.
- Supervise security arrangements, as well as garden and property maintenance.
- Plan and supervise bar, restaurant, function, and conference activities.
- Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assess and review customer satisfaction to enhance service standards.
- Oversee accounting and purchasing activities.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Provide guests with local tourism information and arrange tours and transportation as needed.

The successful applicant will possess:

- A minimum of 2 years previous management experience and strong knowledge in a similar hospitality environment.
- A Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality or similar discipline
- Extensive background in a strong F&B orientated venue with proven results to show same.
- A hands-on approach to management
- A friendly, self-motivated personality with excellent people skills
- A passion for the hospitality industry with the ability to create a positive and proactive working environment

**Salary Range**:
**$75,000 - $90,000** (commensurate with experience)
