Exciting Promotion and Events Management role within a leading hospitality venue in Mornington, Vic.

Role requires an experienced, talented and dedicated Promotions and Events Manager with demonstrated experience within the hospitality sector.

Reporting directly to the G.M., this role carries responsibility for managing the entire events function of our business. We offer multiple areas for events which are held concurrently at any one time. Professionalism, attention to detail and ability to multitask are key to this

role. Specific duties and tasks include and are not limited to:

- Promoting functions and events to potential customers across all channels in particular social media
- Maintain online presence of the restaurants and its events
- respond to reviews, update social media, draft EDMs, manage websites
- Manage function sales from initial enquiry through to event follow up, including meeting with prospective guests at each venue
- Arranging and coordinating services such as catering, signage, displays, audio-visual equipment for participants
- Organising registration of participants
- Negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget
- Liaise with customers to finalize event details and provide professional advice on event setup
- Maintain close relationship and rapport with repeat clients
- Ensure the resources within the business are available for the functions according to the relevant schedule and lead compliance across the other departments to ensure all necessary preparations have been made. This includes managing the hiring of additional event staff, ensuring appropriate numbers of furniture are available and hiring where needed etc.

- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
- Work visa can be provided for this role
- Expected start date for role: ASAP
- Expected salary: $73,500 - $80,000 per year

Pay: $73,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
