About the role*

We are looking for a Product Owner to organise and prioritise features and support cross-functional teams by bridging the communication gaps between stakeholder and delivery teams in the product release life cycle.
- Gather feature requests and prioritise, plan and schedule releases
- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
- Map sprint goals to key objectives
- Set sprint goals and refine methods based on results and validating both customer and business value
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Prioritises epics and user stories
- Groom backlog
- Present monthly showcases

You will deliver value by validating and aligning member and supporter benefits to business goals and prioritising epics and user stories to deliver high impact work as well as ‘quick win’ foundational improvements and ‘must do’ feature development.

Day to day you will be reviewing feature requests and determining which ones can be implemented in the next release, prioritising backlog items for the development team, and creating product roadmaps for testing.

About you*

You enjoy the responsibility of decision-making and navigate complexity and ambiguity by engaging with and listening to stakeholders and providing clear direction, context and meaning to agile teams when prioritising objectives.

You are a natural storyteller comfortable articulating big picture ideas and concepts as well as drilling into specialist areas and translating it for your cross functional audience.

As the value maximiser you bring clarity and purpose to the product vision and work continuously to understand and engage team members to deliver impactful work.
- Vocational or tertiary qualifications in Technology or Product discipline
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams
- Functional (Product Owner) experience not essential but preferred (Tech Lead, BA, Scrum Master with commercial / product management skills should apply)
- Consumer facing web development, digital media agency or CMS Software Development experience well regarded
