**Your part in Buderim Private Hospital**
- As the Manager, Engineering Services, you will lead and coordinate a team of multi-disciplined trade and operational services staff to deliver a high quality of service with a strong patient focus. You’ll be responsible for the prioritization of jobs, work allocation and repairs whilst meeting budgetary targets and actively seeking out cost reduction opportunities. You’ll also be accountable for ensuring out of hours emergency repair services are ready available. You will:
- Develop and implement planned maintenance programs.
- Ensure scheduled-programmed maintenance is carried out on fixed plant and equipment.
- Effectively manage and deliver assigned capital works projects in accordance with the UnitingCare’s approved Project Delivery Framework and UnitingCare Property team;
- Encourage participation and ensure compliance of subordinate staff in workplace health and safety, continuous quality improvement and staff training activities.

**What makes a difference for us?**
- You will hold a trade qualification with extensive supervisory experience (5 years) within an engineering environment.- You’ll present with:
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to effectively coordinate support services
- A knowledge of the various Standards, Regulations and Legislation applicable to the engineering and maintenance services of a Hospital.
- Sound experience in mechanical and electrical engineering also the operation and maintenance of all steam, air conditioning, electrical and other plant and equipment usually found in a large Hospital.
- Sound commitment to meeting WHS compliance and regulatory standards
