Buderim Meadows Retirement Village have an exciting opportunity for a Gardener, Grounds Person to join our team in Buderim Queensland. You will be working on a Part time basis, Monday to Thursday (8am - 1pm).

The Gardener will be required to deliver general lawn, garden and property maintenance in accordance with the Village Maintenance Plan.

Working under the guidance of the Village Manager, you will execute all gardening activities in accordance with the existing frameworks and budget - ensuring that all work is conducted following the correct procedures. As you will be working alongside our residents, a customer-service focus is essential, along with a genuine interest in assisting the elderly.

To be successful you must have:

- Demonstrated competence as a Gardener - weeding, pruning, planting, mowing etc.
- Experience in General Maintenance works
- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job.
- High organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently.
- Strong customer service and team focus.
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation.
