- Professional family in Balmain are looking for a nanny / house manager to help care for their three children B10, G8 and B6 and keep their household running smoothly. They have had full time nannies for many years and deeply value the role they have played in their family. With their children all now at school, they are looking for someone who will not only play an active role in their lives, but help the parents to stay on top of household planning, organisation and chores throughout the week.
- During school term they expect that the role will involve a midday start, allowing for three hours of household tasks before collecting the children from school and being organised for that day’s activities. Depending on the day, this could include swimming lessons, sport training, dance or music lessons, spending time out for an afternoon activity, running errands, supervising homework and showers and preparing the children’s dinner. They would typically expect the day to end around 7pm, for a 35-hour working week. During school holidays, they would ideally like to have an earlier start time for morning coverage.
- Despite working full time (which includes a couple of days a week from home), the parents are very involved in their children’s lives and are looking for a ‘third parent’ to complete their busy family. They really value a sense of humour, attention to detail, a vibrant personality and common sense and are hoping to find someone who will become part of the household for the foreseeable future.
- Driver essential and a car will be provided.
