A loving family in Clovelly are seeking a calm, nurturing and fun nanny to assist in the care of their two children ( 5 yr old boy and 3 month old baby girl).

**Hours are as follows... 3 days - approx 15 hours per week**

2 Half days per week (Between Mon - Fri) and 1 weekend morning or afternoon

ie Monday 12pm -6pm and Thurs 7.30am - 12.30pm (Flexible)

Plus

Either a Sat or Sun for half a day eg 12 -4pm or 9am -1pm

More hours can be offered occasionally and longer days in the school holidays if the nanny is available.

An ideal nanny would be nurturing and calm. A nanny that is active/ energetic and playful and interested to actively engage with the children in imaginative and sensory play and exploring outdoor indoor and outdoor spaces. A nanny that can relate to the different age groups and their needs and be empathetic.

The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys their role as a nanny, is patient, honest, safe, responsible and can be flexible and adaptable.

The nanny must be comfortable with at least 1 or both parents at home and supporting the Mum in helping run the household.

Young baby experience essential though also familiar and prior experience with both ages

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routines
- Take the children to activities or park/playgrounds
- Play and engage in age appropriate activities to assist in the children’s development
- Drop off /pick up the eldest from school when required
- Light household duties: tidying main living areas and surfaces, dishes, children’s toys and play areas, laundry and light meal prep.
- Run errands (occasionally)

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3+ years experience as a nanny
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working with Children’s Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non-smoking
- Fit, healthy and active
- Full licence and clean driving record (preference for own vehicle though family car can be provided for use)
