Wollstonecraft Afsc Nanny

Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 12 + mths -Permanent long term
- Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking happy and positive nanny to assist a busy family in Wollstonecraft. The care will be for 3 children (11 yr old boy, 8 yr old girl and 5 yr old boy).

**Day and normal hours - ( The family are after some help during the week Mon - Fri and are happy to negotiate hours that suit the nanny)**

Ideally looking for....

Monday 4.30/5pm -7.30pm

Tuesday 4.30/5pm -7.30pm

Wednesday 4.30/5pm - 7.30pm (If the nanny is available every second week they need an earlier start of around 1.30-2.45 pm to help out with one of the sons appointments)

Thursday 4.30/5pm - 7.30pm

Friday 2.45pm - 6.30pm

An ideal nanny will have a fun, friendly, happy personality. The family is looking for someone mature and supportive and that can be firm when needed but also to have a calm affect on the children, able to engage and show a genuine interest in all 3 children.

You must be able to follow the children’s routine, take to activities (when required), prepare dinner occasionally, light household duties(clearing, tidying and laundry) and help with homework.

Experience working with multiple children and helping support and run busy households.

**Note: Full Drivers Licence and own vehicle (Family car available)**

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the children
- Provide routine and structure
- Pick up children from school occasionally
- Take to after school activities when required
- Assist with light household duties i.e.Laundry, load/unload the dishwasher, tidy up, change bedsheetsessentially any small task that helps things running smoothly and achievable within the time allocated
- Assist with homework
- Cook a evening meal for the children (2 or 3 times a week)
- Grocery Shopping (occasionally
- Run Errands (occasionally)

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 2 + years experience as a nanny or household manager
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Bonus if you can also speak Italian
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Basic Cooking skills
- Able to Swim
- Full Drivers Licence and clean driving record
