Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our growing business and Lead and Mentor an established accounts payable team, and receivable team member by ensuring ongoing growth and development of our fantastic team.

Reporting to our GM of Finance, our Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing, supporting and co-ordinating the processing of the companies accounts payable and receivable function by providing timely and accurate information about amounts owing to our valued suppliers and owing from our wholesale customers.
This is an end-to-end position that requires a high level of professionalism and accuracy, leading the team to high-performance and ensuring goals are achieved.

We are looking for a dynamic and professional leader with a strong background managing an accounts team within a high-volume environment. If you love developing your team to be the best version of themselves and leading a team of accounting specialists in a fantastic work culture, then this could be the role you have been waiting for. Our head office is based in Abbotsford, in light and funky offices with a gym, basketball courts and great coffee We are growing and are looking for a passionate finance leader to join us.
We are looking for the following skills and experience;
- Strong team Leadership experience
- Process improvement skills and experience
- Work productively in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Solutions-focused and continuous improvement mindset
- Highly motivated, well organised and a proactive approach
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a financial processing position
- Experience in a retail (or multi-site) or FMCG environment would be beneficial
- Prior experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Understanding of procurement processes
- Demonstrated leadership experience and successes
