**About the Role**

The purpose of this role is to support all services provided to the RAS by the Human Resources team. These include but are not limited to; recruitment, training, employee relations/communication, company policies and procedures HR event planning and wellness initiatives, and the SRES Event Volunteer Program.

During 'Show time,' you will fully engage in our Volunteers Program, contributing to the delivery of over 500 customer service volunteers for the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

**Human Resources**
- Proactively learn and engage in Australian workplace relations framework, NES, and awards and agreements
- Actively Support Human Resources strategic direction
- Manage employee life cycle for casual staff (F&B, Stores & SRES) including Recruitment and onboarding, offboarding.
- Champion HR administration including, organizational chart, employee letters, flexible work arrangements.
- Act as Recruitment partner for F&B, Stores & SRES hiring managers.
- Coordinate RAS Visa Sponsorship program
- Coordinate intranet communications
- Manage staff ticket draws
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding
- Champion HR Administration & Systems (ConnX, Workplace, HR Onboard, Rapid Induct, Better Impact, Go1, SharePoint, Etivity)
- Coordinate Working with Children Check (WWCC) compliance

**Event Volunteer Program**

In line with the guidelines set out in the National Standard for Volunteering and supported by Head of HR and HR Advisor you will:

- Coordinate the RAS Volunteer Program for the Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES) including but not limited to:

- Work closely with Agricultural Event Managers on volunteer requirement
- Champion Volunteer Management System ‘Better Impact’
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and inductions for SRES volunteers other RAS/Sydney Showground volunteering opportunities
- Coordinator volunteer rosters and manage time and attendance
- Active run the day-to-day volunteer operations
- Coordinator all volunteer communications
- Support the volunteer workforce in the lead up to, and during the SRES

**You will have...**
- Tertiary education in Human Resources or a recent graduate
- An enthusiasm for transactional & operational HR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- This role requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC)
