Part of PSC’s global Corporate Services team, the role reports to the Global Legal Manager and is responsible for providing contract and commercial support including preparing/reviewing new contracts, negotiating contractual terms with internal/ external partners and administering existing contracts. The role maintains and PSC’s contract management systems and processes and assists with commercial requirements relating to leases and insurance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts for clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, leases and insurance providers
- Provide primary contract administration support to the Australian business, and work with the remainder of the Contracts team to support other regions globally as required
- Assist with commercial requirements relating to premises leases and insurance, including the review, formation and renewal process
- Maintain and administer contract management systems and processes
- Ensure employees understand and comply with contractual requirements
- Analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms
- Stay up-to date with relevant legislative changes that affect PSC
- Create language standards for existing and new contracts
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, procedures and tools
- Support the global Corporate Services team with other functions from time to time
- Other duties reasonably allocated by the Global Legal Manager
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
- Proven analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prepare high quality and accurate legal documentation
- Demonstrated exceptional organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise workload to efficiently meet deadlines and provide excellent client service
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
- Ability to work well in a small team environment and share information effectively
- Demonstrated use of initiative, ability to work independently as well as part of a team helping other team members with duties as required
