We are a leading Not-for-Profit aged care provider in Victoria seeking an experienced **Customer Service Consultant** for a permanent six month fixed term contract.
**About the role**
The fantastic position operates as part of a highly motivated and service orientated team to deliver an innovative and quality experience to all our customers.
The Customer Service Consultant provides information to the public and service providers on the accommodation services provided by Royal Freemasons in response to telephone, written contact and inquires.
The Customer Service Consultant will also be required to manage inquiry sales data for business development reporting to management on leads, performance, trends and benchmarks. Performance standards and expectations of the role are measured through Individual Performance Plans.
**Skills required**
- Able to sensitively respond to queries from prospective residents and their families
- Organise own workload and priorities without the need for constant supervision
- Establish trust and open communication at various levels in the organisation
- Respect the privacy of information that is confidential to this organization, clients or other employees
- Highly developed customer service skills and a level of personal presentation, professionalism which instills confidence in all customers
- Advanced communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers, referrers and partners (medical and clinical staff, suppliers, regulators, Executive management, clients and family members)
- Energy, enthusiasm, initiative and innovative thinking
- Empathy and an ability to establish and maintain an engaged, mutually respectful but professional relationship with all customers, prospective customers, and their respective family members;
- Ability to work from home when required
**Experience**
- Previous experience providing admissions support to customers within an Aged Care setting (highly desired)
- Recent experience in the aged care industry or hospital discharge role with a focus on aged care placements
- IT skills in database management, Internet and MS Office suite
**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an **International Police Check** for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.
**Mandatory Vaccines **All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
