**About Us**:
Adoption Services Victoria is part of the Civil and Enforcement Services Group of the Department of Justice and Community Safety.

Adoption Services Victoria delivers a range of services under the _Adoption Act 1984,_ including counselling to people considering placing a child for adoption, assessing people to be approved to adopt a child, and providing information to people who have been affected by past adoptions.

Adoption Services Victoria includes four business areas: the Adoption Information Service, Child Adoption Victoria, Practice and Reform and Service Integrity. Service Integrity leads the work with funded service providers, records and the provision of counselling to parents considering adoption for their child.

**About the Role**:
The Manager - Service Integrity takes responsibility for monitoring the Adoption program, including staff, sites, service delivery, the budget, implementation of quality improvement plans, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that services are delivered within a clear established framework and operational policies.

Some of your other responsibilities will be:

- Contributing to the development of operational policies that support delivery of high-quality adoption services and ensure the requirements of relevant legislation are met.
- Effectively supervising and providing leadership to a team of employees.
- Preparing reports, briefings and correspondence containing in-depth analysis and evaluation.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Significant experience and knowledge of case planning and / or adoption related services.
- Strong understanding of the Adoption Act 1984 is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing projects, particularly relating to implementing public sector policy changes.

**Qualifications**:

- Highly Desirable: A recognised Social Work degree or a similar behavioural related degree which includes:
- a primary focus on child development, human behaviour, family dynamics and/or impacts of trauma; and preferably;
- a practical component such as counselling or case work practice.
